Granddaughter Erin sent some new pictures as she wandered around the streets of Paris. She has not sent any words along with them, but you can see she is not missing a thing. Here is a Gargoyle perched on a building giving her the once over. Ugly isn't it? But the Gargoyles are not known for their beauty. |

A bit of romance on Paris street. Wonder if a crepe will sweeten her up. Now you have to admit he does have 'attitude'. |

Erin enjoying the sights and sounds of Paris. |

Some art that caught Erin's eye. |

A good spot to stop and rest awhile. |

I'm betting she tried one of these. Wonder if she will bring any home? I'd like one...wouldn't you? |

Saints. |

Ah, romance in the afternoon. |
Erin and Donaleo are enjoying Paris. There is much to see. I hope they make it to the Louvre and have time to enjoy all there is to see. Like our Smithsonian, it takes days to see what you want to see.
The next stop is London, England and then home. I am sure it is hard for them to give up their gypsy travels and settle back down to every day living. They have enjoyed each day, every day, and they have made new friends in all of their stops. It is going to be such a treat to sit and listen to their tales.
So, if you have a mind to travel, start packing and take yourself off and see places and faces that are different. Enjoy your seconds as you wander, and stop and rest and have one of those crepes, maybe not a French pastry, but our bakeries do a good job with cinnamon buns and the like. Time to stop, have coffee to put on and I'm making myself hungry. Blueberry pancakes sound pretty good . . . want some? Come on by if you are in my neighborhood and I'll share. Bring your smile and a hug and I'll break out some fresh fruit to go with them. Hugs to all.
