A sea creature, unbelievable in size and color, strange and odd in its beauty. 

This is blackberry time and the berries are plentiful this year.  My neighbor La Verne has found a patch in her back yard and is sharing some with me.    This recipe was on Facebook yesterday so I thought you might want to try it.  I sent it off to a friend who has more berries than he can eat so he might just try it .  It is called Blackberry butter.  
one pound of butter
1/8 cup honey
1/2 cup blackberries.
Whip together the butter and honey until fluffy;  add the berries and store in a jar and put in your refrigerator. Or, you can shape the mixture into logs and put them in plastic wrap and foil and freeze them for future use. 
Now all you have to do is make up some baking powder biscuits or some scones and enjoy.

 

This recipe caught my eye as I love clams.
Sounds like a winner and a change of taste.
 

Think about that.
So many people waste a lot of time waiting for someone else to make them feel good about themselves.   When you live up to someones expectations and not your own, then you are headed for a life of uncertainty and sadness as you are the one who has to live with yourself and you honestly know your own strengths and weaknesses.    You can't expect others to be able to know what it is you want in life;  that is your job and you pull up your boot straps and make your self strong and independent knowing you were born with everything you need to be successful . . . a brain to think with, two eyes to see with,  feelings of joy and sadness and feet to take you where you want to go .  If you are born in the likeness of God then you have nothing to worry about as you have everything you need to be the person you want to be.   Believe in yourself and all those others will be busy believing in themselves.  Look in your mirror and smile and raise a thought or two about being the very best person you can be today and go out that door and believe in yourself.  Hugs to all.
