| Fall is in the air. Pumpkins are coming out. Halloween candy is out in the stores and someone put out a picture of Christmas items in Costco; now that is really pushing the holiday spirits. |

A new home . . . Bob and Andrea sent pictures to show me how far along their new home has come along. If all goes as planned they will be moving into their home this November in time to celebrate all the upcoming holidays. They have plenty of windows and can admire the views from every room. Lots of light and lots of space. They are busy looking for furniture and I can hardly wait to see what these two have done to their last home . . or so they say, but one never knows with these two. It has been fun to watch the plans come alive and see their dream come true. Happy living you two . . .
La Verne, Pat and I made it to the casino for Prime Rib night and it was well worth it. The soup and salad bar was open, the assorted hot vegetables and accouterments were at the ready and the waitress brought out eight ounces of prime rib on a plate with a big knife to cut it. We didn't need the knife it was so tender. Topped off with a chocolate/coffee type cake and believe it or not I didn't care for it....me....the first at a desert table found it too sweet...too sweet seems redundant but it really was when you are a lover of applesauce or carrot cake or hot apple pie out of the oven. No complaints, just offering a few tidbits about choices and each of us have them....a good thing too. So make your choices today and enjoy your favorite foods. Don't forget to bring a family member or a friend or two along. Good company makes the digestive juices flow along with some good conversation; no 'pads or pods' allowed. It was such fun; we think it is a good idea to do it again next month, so if you are in the neighborhood stop by and join us.
