If you are a lover of biscuits and gravy, you might want to try this recipe out. It sounds like it might be tasty and easy to make as you place some package biscuits in a nine by thirteen pan , brown a pound of sausage , add a packet of pork gravy mix; a pinch of salt to your taste; beat up six eggs in 1/2 cup of milk pour over sausage, then sprinkle a cup of cheddar cheese on top . . bake350 degrees for forty minutes. Friend Marcia tells me she is going to cut the recipe in half and try it. I usually make mine with hot sausage and cook it with a heaping tablespoon of flour until almost black, add the milk slowly and put it over home made biscuits but it is so much easier to walk out the door and have breakfast at the Pancake House where the biscuits and gravy are perfect. |
