Friday the 13th

I've never seen a 'bat' flower before but think it has a beauty all its own.   Not sure of its beauty but it certainly is different.  Different is good . . . just different.

Calm seas, a fog bank rolling in and we stay cool, calm and collected.  

These are brown eyed susans and grow in a small plot outside the Lucky Seven Casino.  They have some interesting plants growing in and around the casino buildings.      

I took a picture of the finished hotel from the rear.   The car ports are huge and as you can see the lumber is humongous.   One of these days we will stop long enough to get a peek inside the hotel.   I am curious about the colors they have chosen.  

Here it is Friday the 13th, so go carefully if you are superstitious.     I had a busy week and spent a lot of time at the dentist office, a must if you want to keep chewing all those delectable dinners.    I have a new lady dentist and she is very good.  You most likely have not reached the age of 'plates' and for your sake I hope you have sense enough to take very good care of your teeth so you never have to own a 'plate'.   They wear out, like everything else, so you have to have what is called a reline and that takes a small miracle to get perfected and back in good use.    Meanwhile you 'enjoy' a much softer diet . . . I'll say no more.

Pat and Erin are opening the garage doors this morning hopefully to a crowd of treasure hunters.    They worked very hard this week to get things priced and out on the tables.     The official day is tomorrow so I'll be over to lend a hand and talk with the folks that come.    I usually take care of the books and, as usual, we have several boxes full.

There was a group on television talking about President Obama and how articulate he was and how full of spirit when running for president.   They agreed he loved running for the job of President but doesn't seem to like the job itself now that he is President.     I think he will go down as the 'vacation' President of the century.   I am sure he will go down as the richest one.    

So I leave you with an apology to my computer changers as I found my way back to 'my' part of this computer, seeing it really belongs to my daughter Christine and it is a shared computer.   The updates were done and what I had to do was shut the computer off and go back in and open up my part and I found my way to my pictures again.   So simple when you know what to do.     Thinking is a problem solver, we just have to use our brains  . . . and that is not easy if you don't have a smart one.  So today sharpen up your brain, do a lot of thinking about what is bothering you and look at it from all angles so you can solve any and all of your problems before the weekend comes up and you free your brain so you can enjoy all your seconds.  Laughter helps, so if you can laugh at yourself, you will have it made.    Smile with your eyes, sing out loud and dance a few steps around the house preferably with a feather duster in hand.   Hugs to all.
