A Bat!

Judy sent along a few more pictures she took while vacationing here.  This is here cozy spot in her garden, for a minute I thought it was a bedstead.   A snooze in the sun or shade would be fine.

A Bat, a Bat . . . on her umbrella.   Wow . . . I didn't know they came out in the day time.  I'd be afraid of them no matter when they decided to come out.     Strange creature.

High seas, clouds and misty days but Judy said she enjoyed her stay anyway.   She promised to come back.

I have my coffee in hand .   The wine will come later.

another truth.      Folks are beginning to wake up and smell the roses.    or, is it skunks???
We have been had by this administration and I think that some of the illustrious leaders are beginning to stand up and be counted.  We do not want to be Socialistic and fifty percent of us have said so.  Now if the others are waking up we stand a chance to get back to 'normal' good old American Folks who believe in God and Country.

Yep, worry solves nothing;  you have to solve your own problems one step at a time.  First you have to admit you have one, then you have to pay attention to the details and then you make a plan to resolve it.

Here it is a weekend to do what you want to do when you want to do it.     Wonder what you are up to?   I am enjoying my own company these days as the 'girls' are busy.   I had an invitation to join them yesterday but I was content as I have been working on my new project "Pictures From A Moving Car" and have it almost completed.   There is a picture or two that needs to be updated or changed to one that fits the words I've written.   I am also writing again and that feels good and keeps my mind occupied.    I baked some jean cookies and used up Pat's apple butter which made a nice taste to the batter, and finished the Maeve Binchy book, "A Week in Winter", I was reading, so it was a busy day for me. There is a new mystery puzzle on the board with part of the frame started . . . want to help?  I'd be more than happy to let you.

Hopefully you are lining up your ducks in a row and have time to spend with yourself.  It is good to do that every now and then just to get in touch with your own thoughts and feelings.     Life goes by like the blink of an eye so enjoy today because you can.   Share yourself if you have a mind to, but if you want to spend it all by yourself, do it, as it gives you time to think and keep yourself in order.     But don't spend too much time alone as there are folks waiting to be hugged and only you can make the difference.     Hugs to all.
