Puzzle

Hey Judy, here it is all finished.    You worked hard on the start of this puzzle.  A mystery puzzle that was not easy.    It was far from easy when you have no box cover to check out.    It turned out to be funny as the little old lady held up traffic and it was piled up high and wide.   The truck driver doesn't look happy.  So one more mystery solved.  Pat was a big help in getting it completed.    I thought of sending it on to you so you could restart and have the fun of completing it, but I don't want to lose your friendship . . . smile.

Daughter Pat and I have finished a dozen or more puzzles this year.    The new board makes it so easy to work the puzzle.  I swear I am not going to put another one up, but it is like eating peanuts, once you start there is no stopping.    I think it teaches me patience, not sure if Pat agrees with that or not.

So if you find yourself bored and you don't feel like reading a good book, or doing the necessary housework or yard work, put up a jig saw puzzle and have some fun.    Like everything else, if  take the time to sort the colors and find all of the frame, it really doesn't make it easier just gives you a place to look for the pieces you need;  let's face it, there is no easy way.  Pride in accomplishment, they go together, so take up your pet hobby and have some fun today.

Speaking of hobbies, I have started a new project I called "Pictures From A Moving Car" and granddaughter Erin is teaching me a little more about the computer and how to add a photograph to my words.    A new picture and poetry book in the works.     Now if I could just get the hang of it, I'll get it out in print, but so far I have managed to lose the picture, move the words and wonder if I will ever find my way to that computer area where things go and hide out.    I am going to have  a new lesson today and have high hopes Erin can find a way to undo the puzzle I created yesterday.   She wrote down very exacting directions, so easy to follow, makes me wonder why I couldn't . . . it must be the computer. Some days I feel like Alice in Wonderland.

I hope your Thursday is a good one and you find time to work with your hobbies.    Doing the things you love to do makes for a happy face and God knows we need to have something to smile about.    It is sad to know that our illustrious representatives signed a two thousand page bill into law and didn't bother to read it.    Now, much too late, they are finding out about damage control.     There is so much more we don't know about, so keep your eyes and ears open and remember all this when it is time to vote.  Meanwhile, think of something you can do to make your little spot on this earth a bit better.   Spruce up your attitude, put a smile on your face and get on with your day.   Hugs to all.
