Stand Up

Here is Queso all dolled up for Halloween.  that's quite a costume.  I bet he gets lots of treats.  Angie sure picked a cutie.

Washington D. C.  . . . We The People!!!

Veterans , Truckers, a protest march in Washington, D. C.   Son John drove over to lend a little support.   The barricades came down and were marched over and dumped on the front lawn of the White House . . . the message clear.

With Liberty and Justice For All !!!!

Erin put together pictures from a trip up into Oregon country.  Jock drove them up where Erin got a shooting lesson but didn't really like handling a gun.  Pat is a sharp shooter although I am still certain she couldn't look at a little deer and shoot it.   She might catch a fish or two but that is different. The scenery was really beautiful and Fall colors are beginning to show.  I like that one of Pat holding up the tree.

So put some plans into effect and get busy and ride out to see the Fall colors while they are at their peak.  Communing with nature is a cure all for all that ails you....and me.  I am hoping for a few more nice days so I can go up to Lone Ranch Beach and walk the pathway around to the ocean.   If I can talk the girls into it, I might even treat them to a bowl of chowder up at Whaleshead.

So here it is Monday all over again, a new week with what we hope will be a bit of news from D. C. telling us the blame game is over and the name calling put to rest.  Talk about bullies.

Columbus Day used to be a special day to celebrate but I haven't noticed any celebrations this year.   It may be off the calendar along with prayer and God.    I think some folks are beginning to see the light....let's hope so and know they will stand up and kneel down and follow their instincts to change the 'changes' . . . November is coming and voting time as a few of our local 'good old boys' need to go.   We will start small and work up to the big guys . . . VOTE!!!   Know what and who you are voting for, stay apprised and remember 'don't tred on me' .    There is an old Irish saying, I heard a lot in my life time, a little irreligious but a truism all the same . . . "Enough is enough and a stick in a man's ass is too much."   Amen to that.     It's Monday . . . go . . . ;put a smile on your face and plan to go out the door and' lick the world with one hand behind you'  another old expression that has meaning.    Be kind, be courteous, be gentle, be YOU.   Hugs to all.
