All Gone

Judy sent some of her pictures that she took while here.   This is the gift basket they brought and you can believe the empty basket is sitting right here empty and bare . . . where did all those goodies go?   Aha, by the wayside, or hip side, or backside.

Yep, that's me, smiling as I looked over the contents of a delightful nutritious gift; you should have been here we would have shared.

This is the kind of overcast, cold, wet weather we had when the ladies were here.  They left and took the weather with them as we had sunshine and Indian summer days all this past week.    I told them they should have stayed on another couple of days so they could have walked the beaches and found a treasure or two.

My friend Helen.    Behind us are some of the vases I don't collect . . . but even so, they are spoken for.  I have to put names on them.

Thank you Judy for sending the pictures along.    You did a good job in spite of the weather.    Maybe next year it will be a lot better and we can get out on the beaches.    By the way, the yard art is still standing.    You did a good job, and my garden looks better with a little yard art.
This week flew by and I did get into the dentist on time yesterday.  One more session with the plate and hopefully a last one.    All I can do is to remind you to take very good care of your teeth so you do not have to have a denture.    Be sure you pick out a dentist who really knows his or her stuff as it does make a difference down the road.     Don't be lazy, brush after every meal . . . I can hear you  now....'yes' mother!

I can't believe it is Friday already.  Hopefully you have your weekend planned and are ready for some rest and relaxation.    East there is strange weather on going so hopefully there will be no news of bad results from the heavy winds and rain.   There is enough hot air and swirling palaver in that area now.    So get up, get out and get going.    Do something 'good' for YOU.     Make someone smile, that in itself is going in the right direction.   Treat someone to dinner out and give yourself a special treat for food you do not usually cook at home.   Plan on rest and relaxation for a change and know that your world is not going to end because you are not working.    Pucker up and be free with a kiss or two;   and a hug doesn't even hurt....try it, you might find you really truly love it.     Hide your IPod or Ipad and have a conversation, a real one and see if you can come up with some good ideas on making some one person feel good about themselves.....start with yourself and go on from there....happy hunting.   Hugs to all.
