Melon

That is a lot of fancy carving, someone has talent.  I'd like some of that fruit for breakfast this morning but it isn't in my refrigerator so I guess I'll settle for a banana.    You have to admit some folks have a creative mindset and talented fingers to go with it.

Is this the sun fading into night or the sun coming out for the day   An eerie sight no matter which way we see it.    A bit like the devil showing off , or the aftermath of the cow that jumped over the moon.   Pictures do, and can, strike up the imagination.

Isn't there some old adage about being able to trust a thief before a liar.   Buffoonery is the name of the game these days.

A sad commentary.

Sunday morning and I haven't opened the blinds yet to see what kind of a day we are in for.   We had a real old fashioned winter rainy stormy day yesterday and it felt so good.    Hopefully the storm door is open and we make\ peace with the fog and the rain and we do a little catch up on our true winter weather.    I am hoping for another rainy day as the cookie tin is empty.

Did you decide to slow down for the weekend?   Good!!  It is good for the body but even better for the soul.   Take time to visit the church rummage sale in your area and give a boost to the coffers that help someone in need.    the yellow scourge is on the table and I finally found that if I choose some alike color and put the pieces in the box top I can put a couple of pieces together.  They still don't have any place to call home but at least I know that some of them might lead on to others.     I am not sure I am going to finish this puzzle;  it is like the picture of the devil or the angel in the picture above.    It is easy to look at but hard to figure out.

Coffee, I smell coffee....I'm off to have my breakfast and open the other eye.   Have a blessed day today.  Friend Jennifer is having a birthday this week as is my grandson Mason .   I hope each one finds love and laughter in their new year.    So I'm leaving with a song in my heart. . . Happy Birthday to you...Happy Birthday to you.........it's okay you can join in....ready...."Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Happy birthday to you....."    Ah, you did 'good' . . . Hugs to all.
