World

We really are like a marble in space.    A beautiful one.   It brings to mind the song "A tiny bubble."  This picture seems to denote serenity, how we wish that were so.     So many of us vying for space, food, air, water;  it would be so much easier for all if each one really cared and made peace on earth a truism.

Another caution.    The seventh commandment....'thou shalt not steal' . . . I wonder if they ever heard of it.

Hey Bob and Andrea, here's an idea for the new back yard.    Looks wide enough for me to sit on.

Another oddity.   I wonder if it taste like flounder, it sure is shaped like one.

Wish I could have made the letters larger and clearer as it is funny, or is it?
"When white man find land, Indian running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water.  Women did all the work.  Medicine man free, Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing, all night having sex."   "Only the white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that."

The Chief in all his fruitful glory.    A carving knife, a little talent, or a lot of talent, and you have an eatable art piece.   Clever.

Valentine Day over.  I hope you had one as nice as I did.    I was invited to join Pat, Jock and friends, Diane and Rod for dinner at our Mexican restaurant, Panchos,   It was crowded but we found a table in the back room that fit us fine.    Our orders came and each dish was a melt in your mouth dish as it was placed before us, hot and large portions which disappeared very quickly.    it is as I keep telling you, have a few friends gather and your attitude shines.   We sent them home with desert.  Pat made up some huge strawberries which she dipped in dark and white chocolate with a few pecan sprinkles;  and some candy hearts  for their candy dish, with sayings they can read all week and know how much we enjoy being with them.

The new episodes of "House of Cards" came out yesterday on Net flex.   Pat invited me over and I watched several of the episodes.   Kevin Spacey could be the next Oscar winner for his acting.   The story line is fast and furious and keeps you on your toes.   Not one to snooze through.   I can hardly wait to go back and see the rest.    Last week I got to watch "Rosemary and Thyme" which is about two lady gardeners and a little murder and mayhem.  It is light and funny , even predictable but fun to watch.

Enjoy your weekend.   Find reasons not to go out in the storms.    Find time to relax and enjoy yourselves doing the things you love to do.      Snow, sleet, rain . . . weather to stay home by the fire and let the rest of the world go by.     Be good, be calm, be cool and collected and you will find your seconds moving at a pace you love and enjoy.    Call a friend today.     Plan a get-together in the near future and have something special to look forward to.    Bring your smile and your bear hugs along and make good use of them.     Hugs to all.
