Super Shame Game

Sheila had a birthday luncheon celebration and her favorite aunt came to visit.    Happy Birthday, from those smiles, I'd say it was a huge success.  I would like to have been there to help you celebrate.

Mike Amacher sent this picture of his flowers in bloom up there in Nevada.  It has been a long cold winter but nature has a way of surprising us  in  winter months.   This year everything is in bloom and it is a long way from Spring.  Maybe we just need a little beauty in our world to cheer us up.

Clever Jay Leno, gives us something to think about.   A lot of folks need to learn a lesson on budgets, spending  and chaos.

A beautiful sky with a Whale's tail.  Often the sky resembles the ocean and now I see why....could be reflections in our world;  a lovely thought.

Well yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday and the hype went on for weeks and the anticipation  was great in  the hope of having a super duper Sunday watching the big game and all those commercials and the spectacular half time entertainment.     I don't know about you, but I thought I'd give it a try and daughter Pat came over to help me celebrate Super Bowl Sunday with a 'tail=gate party all our own.    We settled in our seats with a glass of special wine; some bruschetta and some wonderful Chicken curry and watched a boring game with stupid ads and one of the worst entertainment half times I have ever seen.   What a waste of time, money and energy for most folks;  gave me good reasons for not being a fan.    I may be all by myself in this summation but I think the time and money would have been better spent helping out veterans by building bigger and better hospitals and getting our men and women back on their feet.  What a crock, what a waste of time and money.   Yetch!!!

Hopefully common sense will return.  Meanwhile you have work to do and good deeds to perform.   Don't let my critique slow you down;  if you have words to the contrary, bring them on.  I'm going to celebrate my seconds today doing a good deed or two and light a candle while I'm at it.    Bring on the smiles and the hugs;  I could use one.   Hugs to all.
