Yeah Angie . . . go for it . . . a bucket of balls. I used to love to get out there and swing at the ball even though I missed a few. I managed to hit a couple but never got to play the game. Angie sure looks like she knows what she is doing . . . swing Angie, swing!
Hump Day and the Music awards are on this evening if you have a mind to tune in. We have rain, more of a mist so far. My ninety-four year old neighbor was taken off in an ambulance yesterday and I have not heard any news. A good neighbor and a very sweet man. He loves to read western novels so I have kept him in supply as I pick them up at yard sales. He was doing very well up until a month ago when he started to lose his appetite and his strength. His wife, La Verne, has been taking such good care of him. She dreaded the time she would no longer be able to. It is a sad time but it is a closing time for Jim. He lived a great life and managed to live it as he wanted to. A rancher, a horseman, a lumberjack, a leader, a hard worker , a veteran, a husband, a father and a very good friend. Say a prayer for him today.
Wednesday is a good day to talk stock in yourself and decide how to complete the chores you set up for yourself, and make sure you take good care of YOU. Remember, the body needs good food and exercise and the mind needs emotional strength to carry on all those good deeds that need to be done. Start small and work up to an abundance of goodness . . . YOU are all so full of it! Smile with your eyes; hug like you mean it and be the best YOU can be this hump day. Hugs to all. |
