It is here...Crab season....smiles everywhere as we spread that newspaper on the table and make a finger food deal out of some delicious crab.    Of course, I like it all shelled and ready to eat, but then it wouldn't be as much fun .    Wonder if daughter Pat is ready for some crab?    Maybe we will wait until daughter Christine arrives this week and we can have a special dinner , or lunch . . .or breakfast as crab omelets are delicious.

This is a new felting project.    Christine tells me she is bringing down a kit for us to try our hand in making something out of felt.    I like the bird house, cute and colorful.   wonder what the birds think of it.
It certainly looks roomy enough for a big nest.    Speaking of nests, I had a big batch of 'stuff' on my front porch this week.  I have birds that nest up in the little vents near the attic.    Son John said he cleaned them all out  . . .  I don't think so.

Monday morning and I am still adjusting to the change in time.    It takes a day or two.   Waking at three thirty instead of four thirty makes for a long day but like everything else, it just takes 'time' to get back to the normal time instead of daylight savings time.   I wish folks would just leave some things alone.  For instance I'd like them to stop playing around my computer and changing things.   I've lost my headings.  Oh there are some there I don't want, don't use and can't find the ones I do use.   I have a friend that calls his computer 'confuser' and I agree;  a machine that frustrates but we don't want to throw it out . . . the intent is there some times.  Pat told me to shut the computer off and it would probably put things back to normal, but it didn't work.   I have such things as Ebay, weather of Cambridge, Ma., CNN, YouTube and a lot of colorful little blocks.   Why do I need to know the weather in Cambridge, Ma.?   There are days when I understand Gretta Garbo and her "I want to be alone";    I want to be left alone with my computer the way I want it and the 'updates' left by the way side.    Who ever thought 'change' had to be brought about almost on a daily basis?    Oh to be computer literate;  maybe next time around.

Monday blues, nah!   I am heading out to Crescent City and lunch with a friend today.    Things are looking up, it only took us a couple of months to be able to make time to celebrate her birthday.  I think it was in August.   Well, better late than never.   Go and celebrate someone's birthday, it doesn't have to be today, just know it is time to recognize how important birthdays really are.    Numbers do  not count, it is staying 'fat and sassy' that really counts.     Don't forget smiles and hugs;   hugs and smiles and pick up the tab . . . you're buying?   Well, I'll have some of that crab.   Hugs to all.
