Bobcat

When a mountain lion stalks you, go for height.  Isn't it a handsome beast. I wonder how long it had to stay up there.

A tall saguaro is a good place.  Think about how scared it had to be to go for the tallest stem of the cactus.  Better to be safe than sorry comes to mind.

Photographer Curt Fonger made the shot of a lifetime in Gold Canyon.  The bob cat had to be sure of its safety so headed up a forty foot cactus and settled in.

Grandfather is the coach and his grandson is getting a 'pep' talk or as the story goes this young man spewed a few words best unspoken as he called his coach 'a dumb ass shithead'. When asked if he understood the lecture regarding his behavior, and the grandson said he did, he was told to go and explain it to his grandmother who was sitting in the stands cheering him on.  Wouldn't you like to have been in on that conversation.

And so it goes, little pitchers have big ears, which reminds us that our words are very important.    There is a good old adage about thinking before you speak and another about the words once spoken can never be taken back .  Words can hurt or heal, bring laughter or tears, embrace or disgrace so choose your words carefully today so that they don't hurt those you love.    Open up those arms and walk into a big hug and whisper.    Hugs to all.
