A reminder St. Patrick's Day will soon be here. Green beer anyone?
Another week ending and it has been a long one for me, but a good one. Granddaughter Erin got off on the first leg of her journey. Hopefully her luggage will keep up with her and the plane will reach its destination. That plane that has been on the news for the last week sure has been a puzzle. It seems that there is much more of a mystery than anyone thought. It makes one wonder about traveling anywhere with all the crazies about. I enjoyed my day out with Marcia and hope to do it again. Lunch with La Verne yesterday was fun although the chef had a bad day. Hair in chowder is a turn off. We visited the jewelry shop so La Verne could have her wedding ring made into a special ring and sized to wear on her right hand. A custom I had never heard of. We shopped at Cici's which is a second hand clothing store that brings coffers to the Cancer folks. They have so much to sell and everything at half price. They will soon have to have a sidewalk sale or a two for one as they have an over abundance of clothing in all sizes. Some really good buys and quality 'stuff'. A trip through the Hardware store was novel. I bought some new cleaner for the porches. Now all I have to do is read the directions and get busy. Tonight is dinner at O'Halloran where the food is always good. It is a dinner in honor of Peat's birthday...Happy Birthday Peat! So in spite of Lent I am managing to stay on my regiment and five pounds has disappeared. Yeah, for my team! So, your weekend is here to get out and about. . . do it. . . make your seconds fun and share YOU with those you love. Don't forget at least one good deed a day; smiling is good for the facial muscles and hugs send the spirit rising to new heights. Humming is good, try it and find out for yourself. As the old expression goes...."Go With The Flow". Hugs to all. |
