People and Places

Angie has been busy making fused glass projects and made this little night light for a little girls room.  she did a great job of it, and I am sure she is going to be making more, um. . . maybe I'll put in a request for an original night light as I just broke mine.  Hey Angie!!

how did my grandson Mason get so lucky. . . here is Amy and she just did a very good deed of having her locks cut and will donate to the cancer folks.   Doesn't that smile say it all?  Yes . . . I think good deeds make one feel worthwhile and that is a feeling we all need to make our lives worthwhile.

I agree.  I am old school and proud of it.

Granddaughter Erin took this picture when she last visited Seattle.   A terrific night shot.

Here is Donaleo.   He was visiting Erin up at Port Orchard and they took the boat over to Seattle and visited a friend.    He looks sad but then his lady is leaving for Guyana soon  . . . actually he was checking out the camera Erin had in her hands , you can almost hear his thoughts.    The camera worked fine and they took a lot of pictures of night time Seattle.

I spotted this picture taken in Ireland, the land of leprechauns and fairies;  a beautiful place to visit.  I wouldn't mind returning one more time.   It would be great to be wealthy and rent a cottage over there and spend a month or two just driving all around.  There is so much to see and the people are so friendly.   They do get a lot of rain, thus the lovely shades of green, but it is a soft rain .   You will just have to plan a trip there one day, bring your smiling eyes and be prepared for a lot of laughter.

Shrove Tuesday, don't forget the pancakes for supper tonight.    Start your Lenten season off with a good deed and try to do one a day.  soon you will have a good habit that you will never want to give up.   It doesn't have to be big or pricey, just something simple like a phone call to a friend.   Some folks have ongoing pain in their lives and one word from someone who really cares can make a difference.   Stop, look and listen and you will know who needs YOU in their lives.    Hugs to all.
