Clever

Friend Judy lives in Colorado and some months back she was out taking a walk and found a very novel garden with colorful rocks.   She looked closer to find someone had painted the rocks into beautiful fish.

Here is a lobster.  I'd say a very fancy one, and, reminds me it would make a good Ash Wednesday dinner choice . . . if I could afford it.    there is nothing wrong with a tuna casserole.

Colorful, but what is it?   If it is a rainbow trout it has a way to go.   Someone is clever and loves fish.  It only takes a little something to make us smile.

The Democrats earned the Oscar for the biggest 'flop' of the year.    I hope folks remember how they all got together and hung tight to pass a two thousand page bill they didn't bother to read and have created a horror for the entire country.

I didn't vote for this man because he had no experience and he has proven it time and time again.   He surrounded himself with his ilk and we are now paying a big price as America becomes a dumping ground.

I had seen this picture before and it is beautiful, but it reminds me of what is going on in our nation these days . . .the hidden agendas, the lies, the deceit, Obama Care with all the hidden new taxes .  Some one equated this to knowing the Titanic never had a chance. . . . well let us have high hopes that we will bring about some hope and change if we last through this stage in our lives.     What is that old adage. . . live in high hopes and die in despair....oh no......how come no one told us that earlier in life.

Okay, enough politics for this morning.    There is a crisis on going and I haven't had the news on to find out if we are in for another cold war.    Speaking of war I found a couple of more pieces to the puzzle.  Mary, a neighbor, came in yesterday and took one look at it and said she was going to come back over this week with her eye glasses and see if she could find apiece or two.    At the rate this puzzle is going together Easter will have come and gone and Christmas will be in the offering.     It is a tough one, a challenge and frustrating but fun .  Fun?  Well maybe that isn't the right word, but, almost.

Hump day of our first week in March as time waits for no man.    Son John broke his snow shovel so has to get a new one, some things are not made in America.     Son Michael got in a couple of days of work on the house being built up at Lake Tahoe.  Sounds like a mansion with huge windows overlooking the lake.   Daughter Pat is flying off to join her sister and her daughter for a bit of fun and laughter just before granddaughter Erin takes off for her new position with the Peace Corps in Guyana.   She has her marching orders and is excited, a bit scared, braver than she thinks and ready to help where she can.   Jo had sad news of her aunts passing so she and John are off to join the family and help where they can.   Christine,  with Erin's help got most of her paintings hung.   I am anxious to see them  and have hopes of a picture or two to show you on the blog.     Erin has become a favorite up there in Port Orchard and the Gallery folks   are planning a going away party at the Gallery for Erin.     Jock is off to Coos Bay on business but you know he'd rather be fishing.    All in all the family members are doing what they are suppose to be doing.  I hope you are too.    Take one day as it comes, make it a bright and beautiful day just because you can.   Smile a lot, hum a bit and for heavens sake hold a door for an old timer.    Hugs to all.
