Imagine being on an African safari today . . . imagine the beauty of the beasts.    

If you rode up river in one of the jet boats today you might get to see one or two of these regal eagles. 

or you could be in Washington, D. C. for the cherry blossoms.   The basin is lovely in the spring.   

or you could be in Afghanistan with a few of these guys , so count your blessings and remember them in your prayers today.

Thursday, a good day to enjoy the sunshine and face up to some of the spring chores of gardening.   Not me, I am heading out the door with friend Marcia and we are dining out this morning.   I think we may try the new breakfast at the Super Fly restaurant just to see how they do.  They were the newest restaurant to open and catered to the younger crowd with their special martini bar  and lunch.  We have had several of our restaurants close down.  The Big Gull was a favorite spot and it is now empty along with all the hotel too.   Another chain restaurant opened but didn't stay open long as they really needed a chef who could cook.  If the food is really good there is usually a line waiting ;  even the Casino comes up with some good food now and then, but the best hamburger in town is at the bowling gallery.    So today I am thinking food and that means no eating until I get out the door, so I am off to put my shoes on and be ready when my ride comes.    I hope you can go out to breakfast today and enjoy a great a big plate of ham and eggs, or some of those biscuits and gravy.    Take a friend along and enjoy a leisurely breakfast and it will start your day off with a hug and a smile.    Talk about family, friends, fashion, and leave the politics behind, at least until you have your second cup of coffee .   Make today special, just like YOU.    Hugs to all.
