Reflection

Reflection , what a beautiful picture.    It looks like a beautiful fan spread out ready to cool one down.   Nature at its best...ah!  I am sure I have put this picture on the blog before, but it really is special and another peek might make you want to take a walk by a lake with a tree or two and look for reflections.

the redwoods, giants of the forest and marvelous wonder in our area.

ha, ha,    a truism.     We had cold wind yesterday and my granddaughter took time out to give me a ride to get my hair cut.   The lady barber, Gina, never stops talking as she clips away.   When she has two gentlemen before me then I can expect a very short haircut.    The one I am sporting today should last several months before I have to have another one.    My granddaughter Erin wasn't sure she liked it, but she'll get used to it and in about three weeks it will look feminine again.    I may take to wearing earrings.

Another truism.    Paul Rand's video came around again about the bill he was expected to vote on the same day he received it and no chance to read it.  He was going to stand up an be counted for and try to put a stop to this business.  Obama-care alone should have been the lesson of the year and Nancy Pelosi should lose her spot for saying they should vote for the bill then find out what is in it....well they are finding out and it doesn't seem to bother them very much.....but hopefully it will wake us all up when voting time comes about.

I had high hopes of writing more about the vacation and trip back home but the pictures seem to be lost to me at the moment.   They are in the computer somewhere but the where is elusive.   Christine sent this picture of me sitting with Victoria, a lovely lady I enjoyed meeting and remembering from the last tea I had attended in Port Orchard a year or so ago.    The ladies at the table behind me were fun to talk with also.  The one closest to me is a water color artist and bought several of her students pictures.   I'd be tempted to take classes if I lived up her way.   The lady in the purple hat was the fanciest dressed up lady at the tea with her copy of the English princesses hair style hat or ribbon.   Pam is drinking her tea and everyone had kind and good words for her beautiful homemade Christmas tree napkins.   She is very talented and a perfectionist and her work shows it.   That is Jud holding the tea pot and he and one other man were brave and served us all tea.   He was the Earl Gray man.

So if I can ever locate the other pictures, I'll be sure to share them.    Meanwhile it is nice to be home and back in my routine.    I, like you, have Christmas cards to do and some packages to wrap.   I have to make a list and check it twice.    I am sure you are doing just that, so keep busy and get the job done.  Christmas is almost upon us, cannot believe how fast the time is going.   I'm not ready!!

The note from Christine yesterday tells me the cats are looking for me.  I just hope they don't find their way here...smile.      So make yourself busy today, get your Christmas list down to a one more stop to buy a gift and then start in on the wrapping.  Time is fleeting.    Hum some Christmas carols , the louder you hum the quicker the jobs get done.   Hugs to all.
