The Lost is Found Trip Ending

Christine had to have a new faucet....the latest kind....strange but works very well.

the  moon out of the bedroom window

The tea cups are on display.  Everyone goes in and chooses the one they want.   The ladies are funny and a couple argued over who was to get what cup when they reached for the same one.   All in teasing and fun as each one really didn't care what cup as long as they got one.  Each cup was delicate and beautiful.

The raffle table, lots of really good 'stuff'

Setting up the room.

My Christine

Two of the lovely ladies waiting for tea time

Pam made these napkins, a clever idea and very beautiful

Christine had a hand in putting the menu together

Pam is on the left.   A lovely lady, very talented and a hard worker for her little town and the gallery.  Her friend is a lovely lady also, don't know her name but she was very friendly and had such a lovely smile.

The road home, finally, five weeks of vacation and the weather finally cooperated.  Fifty degrees, dry roads for the most part and fair winds as the saying goes.

The State of Washington scenery is not to different than Oregon.

We finally got to Portland and had to go through on the freeway so I took a few fast pictures.

More of Portland from the bridge we were crossing.

Portland through the spans of the bridge

Christine and Patricia . . . we met at a restaurant off the freeway and exchanged me an my stuff for Erin's 'stuff' to return with Christine in preparation for her visit with her aunt before she leaves from Seattle for Guyana.

How lucky I am to have such a wonderful loving granddaughter.

More scenery as we drove on towards Brookings.

There was a beautiful sunset which I had a really hard time trying to get pictures of....

just about the time I focused the camera another grove of trees got in the way

finally......isn't it beautiful?

our hotel room at Coos Bay where we spent the night before going on to Brookings .

I hope you enjoyed the Tea Party and the ride back to Brookings...I did.

Wait for the warmer temperatures, the dry roads and find a reason to make your way to visit family and friends.    Don't forget to make stops along the way and take your camera with you so you can catch the views as you ride along.    Enjoy the moments as they come.   Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year one and all. . . Hugs to all.
