My beautiful daughter Christine has her home office at her kitchen table ; the telephone alarm rings loud and clear saying it is time to get up and it doesn't let loose until she turns the loud abrasive sound off. She dresses up as if she was going out the door to an office and her day begins. I am amazed at how smart and efficient she is and how much she accomplishes in a day. She is blessed with a retentive type brain and makes it look so easy but it is a job I would find impossible. |

One of my favorite pictures on her kitchen wall. To bad I didn't take a better picture and leave the reflections out of it. |
 |
A special Camilla bush grows by her front steps and only blooms in December. It was loaded with blossoms and so beautiful until the storms moved in and the freeze folded the lovely blossoms into shriveled closed buds. |
 |
Christine celebrated a birthday while I was there so had to have a present. She let me loose in an antique mall and I found this little table for her coffee break time. |

I don't think Christine knows the word 'no' as she was called and asked to baby sit two black cats called Calvin and Hobbs. They are about three years old, very beautiful animals and the word frisky comes to mind. The only way you can tell them apart is one has a crooked tail, probably got it by being nosey or caught up in something it shouldn't have been in. This is the friendly one, couldn't get enough attention and petting. He managed to jump up to the top of the wall clock at three a.m. and shatter something glass. We found a broken candle holder under the couch. |

Here are the two of them, cozy and content as they kept Christine company as she worked. The one with the crooked tail was skittish and although he wanted to be petted it was strictly on his terms. The two stayed cozy and warm and slept a lot during the day, then played in the quiet of the wee hours of the night. I think Chris will have a sad time when they have to go back to their owner; maybe she'll think about getting a couple of her own. |
We had a break in the weather so met in Salem and exchanged me and the packages I had. I was happy to see Patricia and Erin but sad to leave Christine behind. We all had hours to drive before we reached the coast and our stop over in Coos Bay, and Christine's return home. Check in tomorrow for more of the trip home.
I hope you are staying healthy and happy and full of Christmas spirit. Tuesday is a good deed day so get out there and see what good deeds you can do. Don't forget to smile with your eyes and watch a few good deed roll your way. Hugs to all.
