There has been some talk on the television about a possible cure for cancer. What a miracle that would be. Light a candle, say a prayer that it is a truth and so many people will have a chance to live out their lives in good health.
The start of a new week and the weather remains wintery as it should, but it should let up so I can get home. The roads we have to travel are all snowy and icy and that is not much fun to ride in. We are thinking train so Christine will be looking into that today. I could fly but there is no direct route and it is very expensive. So I will wait and see what develops and if there is a 'window' we will take off. Meanwhile Christine and her friend Pam helped Santa Clause in his visit to the Log Cabin yesterday as they had some very happy children having their picture taken. I kept vigil on our dinner cooking away in the oven. Christine made that manicotti dish that the test kitchen showed on a film clip and it was more than delicious. So here we are ready for a new week and a busy one I'm sure. It seems impossible that Christmas is almost here and there is so much to do, yet we manage to get it done every year. Be wise, spend lightly and make your gifts meaningful. A lot of love goes a long way. Hugs to all. |
